Ultimate Eid Gift Guide for Everyone in Your Life

by in Culture on 14th April, 2023

Growing up, I remember on Eid day collecting my Eid money, from aunts and uncles, grandparents and parents. I don’t ever remember the amount, but there is just something special about giving and receiving to mark a special occasion. It was a very sad day, when I no longer qualified for Eid money, but we started a new tradition, Eid gifts, and who doesn’t love receiving a present? While a monetary gift may be a tradition among many Muslim communities, we’re definitely seeing more people welcome the idea of Eid gifting.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, ‘Give each other gifts and you will love each other.’ (al-Adab al-Mufrad 594)

But this leaves you with one problem – the actual acquisition of said present. Finding the perfect gift requires thoughts and meticulous planning, but finding that perfect present for that special person, brings so much joy.  From partners to parents, to best friends to cousins, sisters and aunties, Amaliah’s Eid gift guide is here to give you all the inspiration you need.
