Another NYFW means another Yeezy show. We’re on season 5 now and we saw a 13 minute show with a collection that was more relaxed and wearable than his previous collections.

What was really special though was Kanye casting his first hijab-wearing model. 19 year old Halima Aden walked down wearing a maxi fur coat and a black hijab and we loved it. 

She was recently signed to international modelling agency IMG and was previously in the spotlight in 2016 for competing for Ms Minesota. She wore a hijab throughout the competition and participated in the swimsuit portion wearing a burkini.

“Don’t ever change yourself…change the game,” Aden wrote on her instagram.

She has already been confirmed to be walking in the next Yeezy show and she’s definitely one to watch!
