I ignored this foundation for a while because I don’t really gravitate to matte foundations but I kept hearing good things so I had to try it..

It really does do exactly what it claims. It sinks into your skin and gives a natural finish that leaves you looking poreless. It never looks cakey and doesn’t emphasise or cling to any dry patches so it’s also worth exploring if you do have dry skin.
