A culture rich in language, art, poetry and literature; Somali Week Festival takes part annually in London; a 10-day festival part of Black History Month which focuses on celebrating Somali arts, culture, literature and more. This festival has continuously brought together Somali diasporas from all over the world. Since the break out of the civil war in the early 1990’s, Somalis have scattered across to different ends of the world, with most of a large Somali diaspora community in America, Canada, UK and Europe.
