Earlier this year Maryam and her friends took to the stage to reclaim the narrative of strong Muslim women in the play Svenska Hijabis (Swedish Hijabis). They toured theatres across Sweden to share the stories of five women who chose to wear the hijab during the present political climate. #saymashallahplease #muslimahcrushmonday
