2) Royal Botanic gardens

Here at last! A magnificent titan arum has bloomed in the Princess of Wales Conservatory. Its inflorescence (flowering structure) is one of the largest in the world, but only lasts for 48 hours – you've got to be quick to catch (and smell) it! The stench is so bad that the plant is also known as the ‘corpse flower’. #KewGardens

Built in 1837 for Queen Victoria, King William's Temple can be found in our Mediterranean Garden. ???? The Garden was planted in 2007, and highlights the diversity of life found in the Mediterranean habitat and the conservation efforts needed to ensure its survival. It's a beautiful time of year to explore it! #KewGardens
