It’s that time of the year. Exams are creeping in, deadlines are fast approaching and as if that isn’t enough you gotta start answering the question “What do you want to do after you graduate.”

It is easy to become overwhelmed, it feels as if EVERYTHING rides on the next couple of months. What if I fail? What if I don’t get a job? I’ve been there, I’ve had the panic attack, I’ve felt like the weight of the world is on your shoulders and EVERYTHING rides on these exams.

It was during exam times where I wrote this reflection and I thought I would share it:

Anything is possible.

Whenever I came across this quote or people said this to me I just always used to think yh yh whatever *eye roll*. I thought no it’s not, there’s terms and conditions to the anything. But then now I realise that the reason why I thought that is because I was attributing the ability to make anything possible to myself, rather than to Allah. When you attribute it to Allah — anything really is possible. So in reality nothing is possible without Allah, but anything is possible with Allah.

And Half the time the thing we think is impossible is just hard.

Alhamdulilah

It can feel like it at times, exams, essays, job applications and all of these things are impossible. Often we find ourselves overwhelmed because we rely solely on ourselves rather than Allah. For Allah all things are possible. When we start to realise and reflect that everything comes from Allah your heart will find ease.

For those in the exam period, may Allah always bless your path and make it easy for you!
