The Nevada Athletic Commission told UFC president Dana White last night they were withholding UFC fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov’s pay until further review of the post-fight incident that occurred on Saturday night in Las Vegas. McGregor was defeated with a headlock, by Khabib, who quickly Conor McGregor was paid in full.
Opinion: McGregor gets to be racist, a bully and a thug without facing consequences. Khabib, however, is the bad guy. What's behind this double standard? https://t.co/4pvMQNpJRB

We shouldn't expect perfection from anyone, but we also shouldn't justify their actions when they do something wrong. Even Khabib apologized & acknowledged his mistake. The feelings were justified, but the actions weren't. Imagine if he followed the Prophetic example & said this: pic.twitter.com/Kk0o3kkJmR

Muslims on social media making 7,000 excuses for Khabib but if an Imam slips up they won't even make one excuse.

Human rights groups have been working to find Saudi Journalist, Jamal Khashoggi after vanishing on October 2nd. He was initially living in reportedly ‘self imposed exile’ as Turkish supporters have reportedly rallied in Turkey for his whereabouts to be brought to light. Some critics believe he has been killed in his attempts to enter the consulate in Istanbul. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has told reporters on Sunday that the authorities were in the process of looking into all surveillance footage of entrances and ensuring all inbound flights are being closely monitored since the writer disappeared on Tuesday.
“I am following the [issue] and we will inform the world whatever the outcome [of the official probe]”, God willing, we will not be faced with a situation we do not want. I still am hopeful,” adding that “it is very, very upsetting for us that it happened in our country”.
The disappearance of #JamalKhashoggi suggests an appalling escalation of Saudi Arabia's crackdown against dissent and the free press. The EU should push for investigations and make clear there will be consequences if harm has been done https://t.co/obJfCl1yDb

One thing I keep wanting to stress: Jamal Khashoggi (@Jkhashoggi) would often tell me he never wanted to be labeled a ‘dissident’ or an opposition figure living in exile. He really just wanted to write freely and to be a journalist. #JamalKhashoggi #JamalKhashoggi

He visited the Saudi consulate in Istanbul to collect paperwork on the 2nd of October, and hasn’t been seen since.

A deal has been signed between Russia an ally to the Syrian government, and Turkey in order to back Syrian rebels. Turkey had sent troops to Syria during August of 2016, to clear a border area of ISIL and the Levant. Later this month Russia, Germany, France, and Turkey, will meet in a summit to discuss Idlib. Erdogan, earlier this week mentioned he will not leave Idlib alone until a “general election is held in the war-torn country.”
