Desserts for the Novice and Expert to Try This Eid

A spot of baking? I can’t bear the thought but I’ve been summoned to bring dessert for the family Eid party! My pineapple idea has been rejected so I’m looking for a recipe that a novice like me can follow and enjoy! For all you potentially “Great British Bake-Off” potentials we’ve got inspo for you too. I might just buy a cake and pop it in an oven dish and decorate it with summer fruit…is that cheating?
