Alhamdullilah, we’ve reached 2 years of the Amaliah podcast with some amazing headway, including winning the APA’s Grassroots Production of the Year Award and we’re super proud and grateful to our community for supporting us along the way.
But the journey of Amaliah.com has been going strong a little longer.
Back when we first launched the podcast in 2018, Host + Producer Sara Amin sat down to interview co-founders of Amaliah Selina & Nafisa Bakkar, on building one of the world’s largest and leading platforms for Muslim women. Amaliah is since home to articles written by over 300 Muslim women writers and an agency arm, Amaliah Insights, which has worked with industry leading brands across the world.
And since our first ever episode, we’ve produced over 30 tracks on the Amaliah podcast. If you’re a regular listener of our fortnightly Two Sense podcast series, in which the ladies hit the roundtable and put their two cents on 4 subjects they’d each like to unpack and debate as being either overrated or underrated, making sense of everything from the mundane to the taboo and giving way to often useful and layered perspectives.
So we’re back to round off the year with a follow up to Part 1 of the conversation (which you can listen to here) with a commentary on ‘Life at Amaliah’ as the business grows into it’s 5th year, Alhamdullilah. It’s been an incredible journey so far and we cannot wait to see what’s next.
