Glow, Baby, Glow!

Beauty brands have been launching some absolutely bomb highlighters. You can find them in many forms: liquids, powder and creams.  I’ve put together a list of my all time favourite highlighters, that applied in
the right places, enhance facesʼ features. Be careful to apply well and blend out, otherwise you risk looking greasy rather than glowing.

Highlighters exist in different formulas, so it’s important to first understand which is the best one for your skin type. The liquid ones are lighter in consistency and can be used under foundation to achieve a luminous but super natural effect. Those in cream and stick form tend to be more pigmented and are intended to be spread only in specific places. Finally, powdered ones can have different finishes, depending on the product. They can be applied on the whole face or only in specific areas.

As for colouring, the most important thing is to choose a product according to your complexion. It should be be bright but not too much lighter so that it blends perfectly with the rest of the complexion, otherwise you risk looking like walking, talking, disco balls! Highlight catches the eye, so it is good to pay attention to the type of highlighter you are using and above all never to over-apply. If you apply make-up
at home, it may be that with artificial light indoors, makes the highlighter difficult to notice;  remember that when you go out in natural light everything will be much more evident! An excessive amount of highlighter, as well as giving the impression of being sweaty or greasy, highlights the dilated pores, wrinkles, various imperfections and dry skin.

 How To Glow From Within

I love to apply liquid highlighters immediately after moisturising,
before applying the foundation. Once the base is completed, the light
will seem to come from within and the complexion will have a natural, but very
bright effect. This doesn’t mean that they canʼt be applied above base make-up, or mixed directly with the foundation.

This bright yellow toned highlighter will give you L I F E. It instantly gives tridimensionality wherever you want, and when topped on other highlighters is even more popping. It might be too yellow on lighter skin tones and too greenish on deeper complexions. When applied by its own but itʼs the perfect final touch to a
glowy bomb look! Can we appreciate how GOALS it is when you use it
as an eyeshadow? It got me shook!
