by in Ramadan on 25th June, 2018

Narrated Asma: Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said, “Give (in charity) and do not give reluctantly lest Allah should give you in a limited amount, and do not withhold your money lest Allah should withhold it from you.” (Sahih: Al Bukhari)

The blessed month is over, and we will reap the seeds that we have sewn during our most favourite month. Charity is a fundamental pillar of our faith, to purify us, to increase us, and to help us disconnect from our worldly loves. It is also there as a safeguard and safety net for those who are not able to find provisions due to life circumstances.  We are here to document and highlight one of many incredibly positive outcomes from this Ramadan, that you might not catch on other media channels. Roughly an average of 100 million was raised during Ramadan, according to the Charity Commission.  Let’s continue to be a people of giving, helping, and nurturing. May Allah accept it from us.
