“If someone is offering them a home and a bed, which is me at the moment, give it to them. They will come back to you.”

Lohan broadcasts the whole ordeal on her Instagram live.

“Look what’s happening, they’re trafficking children […] You’re ruining Arabic culture by doing this.

“You’re taking these children, they want to go. I’m with you boys, don’t worry, the whole world is seeing this right now.”

The video continues with Lohan following the family down the street and badgering them so that she can take their two sons backs to her hotel with her. When the family moves away from her, she began shouting threats. The video comes to an abrupt end when Lohan tries to take the boys hand, to which his mother strikes her out of self-defense of her child. Lohan is left largely dumbfounded and ends the video crying. The event has elicited reactions from spectators online, deeming her actions to be that of attempted kidnapping.

 3. Gaza has turned black

A doctor in Gaza reflects on the dire situation they have been facing for the last 6 months. As a doctor living and working in Gaza all my life, I thought I had seen it all. I felt I knew the limits of what Gaza can endure

“The last six months have been the most difficult I have experienced in my 15 years with MSF in Gaza. And I have lived and worked through three wars: in 2008, 2012 and 2014. The human suffering and devastation I saw over the past few months have reached another height. The shocking volume of wounded has been overwhelming.”

The doctor recalls, Monday, May 14. In the span of 24 hours, “the local health authorities recorded a total of 2,271 wounded, including 1,359 people injured by live ammunition. I was on shift that day with the surgical team of al-Aqsa hospital, one of the main hospitals in Gaza.”
