Welcome back to our fortnightly Two Sense series, in which Selina, Nafisa + Sara,  hit the roundtable to put their two cents on 4 subjects they’d each like to unpack and debate as being either overrated or underrated, making sense of everything from the mundane to the taboo and giving way to often useful and layered perspectives.

This week the ladies are bringing in the overrated category:

Nafisa:

  1. Our wider structures/ capitalism against the backdrop of what’s unfolding with covid-19.
  2. Working culture and how it needs to change after covid-19.

Sara:

  1. Using our time outside – quality time needed!
  2. Isolated worship might be the thing we need most right now.

Selina:

  1. Coming from a standpoint of mercy – we need fear to survive too. This is the lecture Selina refers to in the episode and has shared another one she watched:

This week the ladies are bringing in the underrated category:

Nafisa:

  1. Founders choosing between going sick and going bankrupt…
  2. Integrity doesn’t pay the bills.

Sara:

  1. The world is healing people.
  2. Big up NHS and all key workers keeping humanity from plummeting into chaos right now.

Selina:

  1. Preserving your fresh fruit & veg!
  2. Parents having to double as school teachers – don’t be hard on yourself!
